Celebrating the Titanic
All of the children at Dolphin Nursery and Preschool celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic by taking part in activities based around this.
They have been very busy creating hats and boats, preparing for our boat race which took place on Monday 16th April.
All age groups participated in the boat race, showing off their creations and seeing if they would all float. The boats were placed into a small paddling pool where a big ice berg had been created out of ice. The whole nursery then enjoyed a tea party together and prizes were awarded to all of the rooms.
The children in Preschool have been learning about what happened to the Titanic 100 Years ago and have had the opportunity to wear a hat and jacket which was similar to that worn on the day by a sailor.
